Angraecum sesquipedale var. bosseri (mounted)
CH-25883 Angraecum sesquipedale var. bosseri - mounted on a cedar shingle. Small seedlings, about 3 to 4 years from blooming size. This is the less common and more compact variety of the more frequently seen Ang. sesquipedale. This form will grow taller than the regular form, but takes up much less space in the greenhouse than the standard form as the leaves are much shorter. The flowers are huge and the inflorescence will have 1 or 2 flowers. The flowers are very long lasting and fragrant at night. Sometimes called Anngraecum sesquipedale var. angustifolium or the Darwin Orchid.
