Coryanthes misasii

CH-24543 Coryanthes misasii - 2 inch pot. These are very small seedling sized plants. About 2-3 years from blooming size. Flowers petals are gold/yellow with a reddish head. Coryanthes are known for growing fairly fast for an orchid. The flowers on these grow upright on a stem, as opposed to most Coryanthes flowers, which grow downward or hanging. Flowers last just a couple of days but mature plants can bloom 4-6 times a year. Coryanthes are sometimes called Bucket Orchids. Nice Fragrance.
