Lycaste (x smeeana x macrophylla)
CH-25335 Lycaste (x smeeana x macrophylla) - 2 inch pot. Flowers are about 3 inches wide. Plants are about 15 inches tall when they have foliage. Generally bloom in winter/spring. These are blooming size or very close to blooming size, as we have bloomed some from this batch. Lycastes like it on the cool side and are deciduous plants, so they will lose most or all of their leaves every winter. Leaves with yellow or brown tips and general small black spotting is common and natural. They will loose those leaves anyway. Fun Fact: Lycaste x smeeana is a natural occuring hybrid of Lycaste deppei and Lycaste virginalis.
